One Positive Action

Visualize Your Future Self

Today we’re going to try a quick visualization exercise, close your eyes and imagine your future-self. Picture the life you’ve been working towards, you’ve beat your struggles, and are finally living the life you want to live. Strong, confident, thriving.

With your eyes closed, imagine every detail and really feel what it’s like to be that person, the joy of having completed your goals, the confidence of having come so far. When you visualize like this, your brain actually can’t tell the difference between your imagination and your current reality, which can give you an instant motivation boost and shift your mindset.

With this mental picture of your future self, you’re giving yourself permission to be that new you, a road-map; each step you take today will bring you a little closer to that future you’re already starting to live.
