5 Calming Ways to De-Escalate Relationship Conflicts
When two (or more) people are together, conflict is bound to rise at some point!
We might have a lot in common or get on well and love each other, but we won't always agree on everything.
The existence of conflict doesn't necessarily mean that there is something wrong with the relationship or the people involved. Trying to eliminate conflict entirely is unrealistic and will result in resentment building and, eventually, explosions and outbursts becoming a common occurrence.

This Week’s Healthy Recipe
Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries for a Complex Carb Boost
If you’ve recently purchased an air fryer, your world is likely being blown wide open with new recipes and creations.
The air fryer offers convenience, but that’s not all… It also uses significantly less oil than if you were to conventionally fry something or put it in the oven.
The air fryer is also super easy to clean up, which is a bonus for those of us who dread dishes.
Now, sweet potato fries have been a long-standing favorite of mine. And, in my opinion, they’re made even better with an air fryer! Plus, sweet potatoes have loads to offer our mental health…
One Positive Action
Do a creative brain dump!
Ok, this is actually a lot more fun than it sounds. Grab your journal and trusty pen, set a timer for five minutes and just start writing.
Don’t worry about “oh I don’t know what to write” write ANYTHING! Just let whatever is in your head spill out onto the page. It doesn’t matter if they’re scattered, silly, or totally random—get it all out.
Think of it as decluttering your mind, freeing up space for fresh ideas and a clear head. You might end up with a jumble of words, doodles, or half-baked ideas, but that’s the beauty of it! Sometimes, the most brilliant thoughts emerge from the chaos.
There’s no right or wrong here, just a chance to hit “refresh” on your brain. Who knows? You might stumble on a creative spark or a new perspective while you’re at it.
So grab a pen, dive in, and let your mind wander!
