There’s a reason why we’re suggested to drink 8 glasses of water a day. Specially first thing in the morning. Did you know that your body loses about 16-32 ounces (0.5-1 litre) of water over night?

Since our brains are mostly water, it’s imperative to get that first glass of water in first thing in the morning to wake up, and get your brain ready for the day. Studies show that even minor dehydration can hamper your cognitive performance, affecting memory, attention, and mood.
