Time Management 101: Save Time, Waste Less Time, & Find More Time
As someone who has worked for themselves for the past six-plus years, I’ve had to become ultra-strategic when it comes to my time management.
Gone are the days when I’d find a million other things to do other than work or get to the end of my day, panicked that I barely made a dent in my to-do list (I get stressed even thinking about those times!).
So, how’d I do it?
Well, it took a bit of trial and error to truly nail down this time management thang, but with a few hacks…

One Positive Action
“Love Yourself First” Check-In
Most days, you move through your routine without ever asking yourself how you’re actually doing, but when was the last time you paused long enough to ask yourself what you need?
Self-love often gets framed as this big, transformative concept, but in reality, it’s built through small acts of consideration for oneself. It doesn’t have to be through big gestures for yourself that you grow in self-love, but instead, you need a quiet check-in where you ask one simple question:
“What is one loving thing I can do for myself today?”
The power of that question is that it grounds self-worth in action rather than loose ideas. You’re not trying to convince yourself you deserve love; you’re showing yourself that you do. Whatever need comes up, trust that it matters.
This practice softens the pressure to get everything right. When you ask yourself what loving action you can take today, you shift away from perfectionism and into presence. This practice will help you to start paying attention to what you’re truly asking for, and those tiny acts of care will begin to accumulate.
Today, pause for one minute and ask yourself, “What is one loving thing I can do for myself?” Choose something small and specific, and follow through. Let today’s act be enough. Then tomorrow, ask again. These tiny moments of self-care are how you build a life that feels kinder from the inside out.
