It also doesn’t mean that your hurt doesn’t matter. Or that the relationship will continue forward where it left off.
Rather, forgiveness is about letting go.

any other negative emotion that you no longer want part of your life

Weekend Hike: This is always my go-to for a weekend activity (usually paired with going for a nice mountain drive). Look up a map of your area on google and check out all of the parks and hikes near by. It’s always fun to find somewhere new, but if you have an old favorite, that’s perfect too! There’s something incredibly refreshing about escaping into the outdoors, breathing in fresh air, and taking in the beauty of your surroundings. You’ll come back feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready for the week ahead.
Declutter & Refresh a Small Space: Chances are you have at least one area in your home that could use a bit of a refresh. Pick an area that’s been neglected, a bookshelf, closet, desk, or kitchen cabinets, and give it a quick refresh. Sorting through items, organizing, and clearing space can leave you with an easy sense of accomplishment!
Creative Writing Session: Grab a notebook or your laptop, find a cozy spot, and let your thoughts flow freely. You could start with a gratitude list, jot down dreams or goals, or even write a short story just for fun. The act of writing creatively allows you to explore new ideas, connect with your inner thoughts, and express yourself in a unique way. Plus, it’s a great mental escape that can leave you feeling inspired and refreshed!
Audiobook Recommendation: For a truly inspiring listen, try out Start with Why by Simon Sinek. It’s currently blowing up on tiktok and is based on one of the most watched TED talks of all time. There are compelling examples from leaders like Martin Luther King Jr, Steve Jobs, the Wright Brothers and more. It’s not just about what you do or how you do it, but the underlying reason behind it, the “why”. It’s definitely worth a listen!
