How Strong is Your Intuition? 10 Ways to Develop it & Why You Should Try

Written by: Krista

In today’s society, fear is everywhere. The media and the world wide web have undeniably played their part and created an immense amount of stress, anxiety, and uncertainty.

While many have found their mental health has suffered, we also start to question ourselves and everything around us. We fail to trust our gut instinct, also known as our intuition.

Intuition tells us right from wrong.

  • It lets us know when we're doing something that isn’t in alignment with who we want to be or our values, and vice versa.

  • It’s that “hunch” we get when we are sure or unsure of something.

5 Encouraging Life Truths to Help You on Your Journey

Written by: Dominica

One of our life truths: there’s no denying the fact that sometimes it's a struggle.

Things don’t always go as planned and unfortunate things do happen. However, some people have come to the conclusion that life is supposed to be easy. Maybe it's the people around them that make it seem so effortless. Maybe their life seems like a breeze or they simply ignore their struggles.

In my younger years, I held this unrealistic notion that life would be so easy and everything would work out magically.

I imagined that I would:

  • get the job I always wanted

  • earn a decent income

  • find true love

  • live happily ever after

It was almost as if life was meant to be a fairytale.

However, as I grew older, this illusion got shattered bit by bit, and I slowly began to realize that life wasn't as simple as I had imagined.

One Positive Action

Sip Slowly

It’s easy to rush through the small moments of your day without noticing them. Your coffee gets cold while you’re distracted. Your water is finished without a second thought. The simplest routines can become automatic and forgettable.

Slowing down, even for something as small as a sip, brings you back into the present. When you pause and actually taste, feel, and notice what you’re doing, your mind has a chance to settle. You’re no longer moving on autopilot; you’re choosing to be there.

These small pauses matter more than they seem. They create pockets of calm in your day, helping you feel more grounded and less rushed. Over time, those moments add up and change the pace of how you experience everything else.

The next time you take a drink today, slow it down. Take one sip without distraction. Notice the temperature, the taste, and the moment itself. Let it be a brief reset before moving on.
