What is Love Bombing? How to Handle Being on Either Side

Love bombing: Have you ever been with someone who showers you with so much love one minute and then suddenly changes into a whole new person the next?

Not everything is always what it seems to be, especially in the realm of love.

Some people love genuinely, while with others, there's an ulterior motive. We always want to know where our prospective partner stands before we start dating, but sometimes it can be challenging.

5 Practical Tips to Help You Log Less Phone Time & Be More Productive

Trying to find a way to have less phone time?

Smartphones have found a way to be an essential part of our lives. For most people, their phones are the first thing they look at in the morning, and the last thing they look at before falling asleep.

Features such as alarms, reminders, and other productivity apps can be a great way to foster and enhance our productivity.

However, phones can also be a major distraction considering the unlimited social media platforms and gaming apps that we can basically use for free. Several times I’ve found myself aimlessly scrolling through my phone for hours without even realizing the amount of time wasted

One Positive Action

Say “NO” to one thing:

If you’re like me, you’re probably a little overwhelmed, and it’s definitely not because you’re doing too little! You probably also say yes to too much. Every time you agree to something that drains you, takes you off course, or isn’t a true priority, you’re stealing energy from what actually matters.

The solution? Say no. Just once today. To one thing. Maybe it’s skipping a pointless meeting, passing on a favor you don’t have time for, or declining an invite that doesn’t excite you.

Here’s the key: every “no” creates space for a more powerful “yes.” If you constantly put other people’s needs ahead of your own, where does that leave you? Burned out. Frustrated. Resentful. But when you start protecting your time, even in small ways, you build momentum. You train yourself to value your energy. And that’s not selfish, that’s necessary. Because if you’re drained, you can’t show up fully for the things and people that truly matter.

So today, make the call. Send the text. Decline the thing that doesn’t serve you. It might feel uncomfortable at first, but I promise, nothing feels better than owning your time. And the more you do it, the easier it gets. You are the only one who can set your boundaries. And when you do, you take back control of your life.
