3 Things to Help You Commit to Change & Doing the Tough Stuff
Chances are there are things you desire, but you just don’t have yet.
It’s human nature to desire all sorts of things. However, many people live an entire lifetime without getting the things that matter the most to them.
They want change, but the truth is that change isn’t always easy.
In fact, the majority of people who set goals, such as weight loss or quitting smoking, do not reach their goals.
Most New Year’s resolutions are not carried through more than one or two months. Many people who find themselves in bad relationship after bad relationship never take the time to dig deep and commit to the tough stuff in between relationships – like healing…
Healthy, Harmonious Love: 7 Relationship Tools to Keep in Your Pocket
Every great relationship requires effort, patience, and the right tools to flourish.
While love is the foundation, it’s the small, intentional actions that keep a relationship strong, connected, and fulfilling over time.
Whether you’re looking to deepen your bond, strengthen communication, or simply keep the spark alive, the key is to be proactive. A thriving relationship doesn’t just happen - it’s built with daily habits of respect, trust, and shared experiences…
One Positive Action
Offer a helping hand:
Think about a time when you were struggling, maybe you were carrying too many bags, searching for something you couldn’t find, or just feeling overwhelmed. Now, imagine someone stepping in, even for just a moment, to help. How did that feel? Instantly, the weight lifted, even if only a little. That’s the power of kindness.
Now think about how often you might walk past opportunities to help someone without even realizing it? Someone in the same situation as you, but what if you were the one to step in? One small action, one second of effort, could change their whole day, and yours.
Kindness is contagious. When you help someone, their brain releases oxytocin, the “feel-good” hormone, and so does yours. That means one small act creates a ripple effect. They’re more likely to help someone else, and then they’re more likely to help someone else, and suddenly, you’ve set off a chain reaction of positivity. Don’t wait for change, create it!
Make it a habit. Start scanning the world around you for opportunities to serve. If you see someone struggling, don’t hesitate, jump in! If a friend is overwhelmed, offer support. If a stranger looks like they need a break, give them one!
So, here’s your challenge: today, find one way to help someone, no matter how small. Open a door, carry a bag, offer encouragement. The more you give, the more you grow. Because when you make kindness part of who you are, you don’t just improve someone else’s life, you elevate your own.
