You had a picture in your mind… the version of yourself you thought you’d be by now, the one who had it all figured out.
Maybe she wore heels to meetings, or maybe they were married with a white fence and three kids. Maybe he was fit, focused, and wildly successful. Or maybe they were simply... happier.
We all carry those imagined versions of ourselves… crafted from childhood dreams, cultural scripts, or the quiet pressure to prove we’re “enough.”
But what happens when that picture no longer fits? What happens when you wake up and realize you’ve outgrown the person you were trying so hard to become?
Letting go of that old identity isn’t failure.
It’s freedom.

Have you ever held a grudge against someone?
Have others held one against you?
If so, then you know that resentment can weigh pretty heavily on you, like a shadow that looms over your heart and mind.
Resentment can sprout from a range of situations:
misunderstandings
hurtful comments
childhood trauma
perceived injustices
deep-seated grievances
While it's a common and natural response to pain, clinging to these grudges can keep us living in the past and reduce our happiness.
One thing is for sure. It’s important to address and release these grudges if you want to enjoy more peace and joy.

Music has a way of speaking straight to your soul. On days when your emotions feel overwhelming or tangled, your musical choices will reflect how you feel. Today’s practice is simple: build a playlist that captures your emotional landscape right now, and a few others for when you want to boost your mood.
Start by checking in with yourself. Are you feeling happy? Restless? Content? Whatever it is, open your music platform and begin selecting songs that match that feeling. Let the rhythms, lyrics, and tones reflect your inner world as it is in this moment. Create a couple playlists to cater to your moods including one for when you need some uplifting music.
This practice is that it helps you become more emotionally aware, without needing to put everything into words or writing. Listening to your playlist can help you process, validate, or shift your energy depending on what you need most.
Create some “Mood of the Moment” playlists with 5–10 songs that capture your emotions. Give it a name that resonates with you, and play it back when you want to validate a feeling.
