What If Nothing’s Wrong? Releasing the Need to “Fix” Everything

Do you ever felt like you’re a constant work in progress?

Like no matter how much you read, heal, journal, or strive, there’s always something else to fix?

One more flaw to smooth out.

Another mindset to rewire.

Another version of yourself you’re supposed to become.

We live in a culture that thrives on the chase for self-betterment. There’s always a course to take, a shadow to unpack, a routine to perfect. And while growth can be beautiful, the never-ending need to improve can quietly turn into a form of self-rejection.

But what if... nothing’s wrong with you?

Having Trust Issues With Yourself? Understand Why & Learn How to Start

Trust is undoubtedly a big part of any relationship. From an early age, we have people we trust and are comfortable enough to share anything with.

We can all agree that trust is the foundation of any good relationship. It gives us certainty and guarantees us that someone has our back no matter what.

We want to surround ourselves and spend time with and open up to people we trust. They make us feel good and help us get better, so why not?!

But, have you ever wondered the extent to which you trust yourself? Do you have trust issues with yourself?

One Positive Action

Wear Something Bold

Style is our own personal reflection of who we are. What we wear can be armor or a statement of courage. We often get comfortable wearing things that feel comfortable and tend to stay in our style lane. Choosing something new and bold can feel risky, but it’s a small and powerful act of self-expression.

Sometimes our desire to blend in keeps us from trying things that reflect our true personality. Wearing something bold invites us to be seen. Bold doesn’t have to be bright colors or patterns, but something that you would not pick out on a day to-day-basis. If you like what you’ve picked, but still feel hesitant, ask yourself what exactly is holding you back?

When you wear what makes you feel strong or joyful, you practice letting go of fear around others’ opinions. A lot of the time our reservations about a bold new choice are rooted in the fear of what others think. But by letting go of those worries, you reclaim ownership of how you show up.

Choose one bold piece of clothing, whether it be through color, style, or accessories. Wear it with confidence and let it speak for your spirit. The most important thing is that it makes you feel good.
