Are You a Highly Sensitive Person? 8 Valuable Tips to Help You Live as an HSP

One Positive Action
Move for Five Minutes
Movement does not have to be intense to be effective. Sometimes, the most useful form of movement is enough to shift your energy out of where it is stuck.
When you feel sluggish, overwhelmed, or unfocused, your body is often holding more tension than you realize. Sitting with it longer rarely helps but what does help is interrupting the state your body is in, even briefly. Five minutes is enough to do that, and break the spiral your body is currently in
Gentle movement increases circulation, brings oxygen into your system, and signals to your nervous system that something is happening. That signal alone can lift mental fog, ease restlessness, and make the next task feel more manageable. Even five minutes is enough to make you genuinely feel better!
Five minutes lowers resistance. Your brain is far less likely to argue with something that has a clear and short endpoint. You do not need to commit to more. If you stop at five minutes, that still counts. If you keep going, that is a bonus.
