As the world grows busier and more complex, finding balance in life feels more essential than ever.

What do you really want for 2025?

For many, the answer isn’t just more money or career success - it’s something deeper. It’s peace.

Making New Year's Resolutions This Year? 4 Things to Help You See Them Through

What a year 2024 was!

It was unlike any other we’ve all seen, that’s for sure.

I don’t know about you, but I’ll be glad to put some things about 2024 in my rearview mirror. I’m believing in a much better 2025 on all levels, as I’m sure you are too.

With the New Year here, most people start writing down or at least thinking about New Year resolutions. In fact, many people come up with a whole list of New Year’s resolutions and have great intentions of following through with them…

One Positive Action

Energy Check-In

How are you feeling right now? Not “fine” or “busy” or whatever canned answer you usually give. Really stop and check in with yourself. Does your energy feel steady and calm, or is it all over the place? Are you dragging? Restless? Maybe you’ve been going full tilt, ignoring what your body’s trying to tell you. Yeah, it generally doesn’t end well when you do that.

If you’re drained, maybe it’s time to take a break. Lie down, take a few deep breaths, or let yourself zone out for a while without guilt creeping in. Feeling restless? Do something to burn it off: a quick walk, a stretch, or putting on your favorite song and moving around like nobody’s watching. Just lean into what your body is asking for.

Sometimes, you just need to change gears entirely. Staring at the same task and hoping energy magically shows up isn’t going to cut it. Shift your focus, even for a few minutes. If you’re drained, rest. If you’re wired, do something to channel that buzz. Ignoring how you’re feeling doesn’t make it go away, it just builds up until you crash or snap.

Listening to your energy is an act of self-respect. It’s you saying, “I’m paying attention.” And when you pay attention, you show up better, not just for the people around you, but for yourself. So check in, adjust, and remember that it’s okay to not be at 100% all the time. You’re human. You’re allowed to take a break.
