This Week’s Healthy Recipe
Power Up with Cottage Cheese Egg Bites
Cottage cheese egg bites might not sound super appetizing—especially if you aren’t a fan of cottage cheese.
But the latest viral craze of sneakily adding cottage cheese to various recipes can really amp up your protein intake. And these egg bites are the perfect example.
Cottage cheese aside, I love quiche and egg bites. They offer the perfect amount of B vitamins and other nutrients to jumpstart the day. Add in more protein, and I’m 110% on board…
One Positive Action
Make a note in a progress journal:
Keeping a progress journal doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s just a space for you to scribble down something you’re proud of. Something that went right, big or small. Maybe you made a healthier choice at lunch, finished a task you’d been putting off, or handled a tough situation with patience. Write it down, even if it feels insignificant. Those little wins matter more than we give them credit for.
Taking the time to reflect helps you notice things you might otherwise overlook. When you’re always moving forward, it’s easy to miss the progress you’re making. Writing it out lets you look around and acknowledge how far you’ve come. Even on days that feel messy or unproductive, there’s usually something worth recognizing.
Over time, this practice becomes a kind of map. When you’re feeling stuck, you can flip back and see proof that you’ve been through hard days before and come out stronger. It’s a reminder that growth is happening, even when it’s slow or hard to see in the moment.
So, grab whatever you’ve got, your phone, a notebook, or even a scrap of paper and start small. A sentence or two is all it takes to create a record of the effort you’re putting in, day by day. You don’t need to be perfect, you just need to keep showing up for yourself, however that looks right now.
