Procrastination and Productivity: Why You Feel Like You’re Not Getting Anything Done
You know that feeling - you’re staring at your to-do list, knowing exactly what needs to be done, yet finding yourself scrolling through social media or reorganizing your desk for the third time this week.
If you’re struggling with the paradox of wanting to be productive while constantly putting things off, you’re not alone.
It’s a frustrating cycle that many of us know all too well: the more we procrastinate, the less productive we feel, and the less productive we feel, the more likely we are to procrastinate again.
But what if we told you that understanding this relationship between procrastination and productivity could be the key to breaking free from it?
Five Types of Imposter Syndrome: Do Any of These Sound Familiar to You?
Despite having accomplished a lot of things, do you ever feel like a complete fraud or an imposter?
Well, you’re not alone. This is exactly how I felt in the morning when I almost crashed into another car. About 70% of professionals feel like they are imposters.

Your Weekend Reset
Ready for a weekly reset? Try a few of these tips to unwind, connect, or get creative. We’ve got you covered to make the most of your downtime!
Breathwork & Stretching Session: Your breath is the gateway to your physiology. You want more energy? More clarity? More power over your emotions? It starts here. Take ten minutes and focus on deep, controlled breathing: inhale through the nose, hold, exhale fully. Feel the shift. Then move, stretch with intention, open up your body, release tension.
Total Digital Detox Window: Most people are reactive all day, they wake up, grab their phone, and instantly get pulled into someone else’s agenda. Stop. Take back control. Block out time where there are no screens, no scrolling, no notifications. Use this space to think, to be, to reset. Read. Move. Have a real conversation. You’ll be shocked at how much mental clarity you get just by unplugging from the noise. (This is one I do all the time, and it is so necessary)
Sensory Reset Walk: Too often, we move through life half-asleep. Distracted, overwhelmed, stuck in our heads. So break the pattern. Step outside, take a deep breath, and feel the ground beneath your feet. Listen to the wind, the birds, the sound of your own steps. Let yourself be fully present, fully engaged. This is how you get out of stress mode and back into your body.
Audiobook Recommendation: The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday & Stephen Hanselman - Life is unpredictable. You can’t control what happens, but you CAN control how you respond. Every day, you get a quick hit of perspective from some of history’s greatest minds: Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus. You start thinking bigger, handling stress better, and seeing obstacles as opportunities.
