The 4 Best Personality Tests & How They Can Help Your Personal Growth

Ultimately, a personality test helps you understand yourself better.

In particular, it can help you:

  • create a fulfilling career path,

  • become more aware of your strengths and weaknesses, guiding you toward becoming the best version of yourself

When you are aware of these things, you can show yourself more compassion, commit to goals that align with you, and generally, live a happier and healthier life where you love yourself a little bit more.

Your Anti-Anxiety Bedtime Ritual: 8 Soothing Ideas to Help You Get More Sleep

Anxiety has a sneaky way of showing up when we least want it—like right before bed. You’re lying there, trying to relax, but your mind won’t stop racing.

  • “Did I send that email?"

  • "Why did I say that awkward thing during lunch?"

  • "What if tomorrow doesn’t go as planned?”

Suddenly, it feels like sleep is miles away.

If this sounds familiar, I get it. Anxiety is relentless, especially when the world quiets down and we’re left with our thoughts.

Your Weekend Reset

Ready for a weekly reset? Try a few of these tips to unwind, connect, or get creative. We’ve got you covered to make the most of your downtime!

  • Ice skating at a local rink: Ice skating is one of those activities that feels like pure winter magic, well, once you get past the whole wobbling-like-a-baby-deer phase. It’s equal parts exhilarating and hilarious, especially if you’re with friends who are just as likely to fall as you are. Even if you haven’t laced up skates in years, there’s something about gliding (or stumbling) across the ice that’s ridiculously fun. Plus, it’s a solid excuse to treat yourself to hot chocolate afterwards.

  • Break out a puzzle or board game: There’s something weirdly satisfying about dumping out a thousand puzzle pieces and slowly bringing some fantastic scene to life. Or, if puzzles aren’t your thing, break out a board game and get competitive with your people. Whether it’s Scrabble or a game that involves fake money and a lot of fake(-ish) yelling, it’s a great way to spend a cozy night in while avoiding screen overload.

  • Try a new soup or stew recipe: Nothing screams winter like a big pot of something warm and hearty simmering away on the stove. Pick a recipe you’ve never tried before, maybe a rich tomato basil soup, a creamy potato leek, or my personal go-to an extremely spicy chili (if it doesn’t make you sweat, can you even really call it chili?) and let your kitchen smell amazing for hours. It’s therapeutic, it’s delicious, and it might just make you feel like you’ve got your life together, even if it’s just for dinner.

  • Audiobook Recommendation: Atomic Habits by James Clear. This is one I keep in my library and often find myself revisiting it while out on walks. It’s great for bringing my focus back to whatever habits I might be building (good or bad!) and make adjustments as necessary. It’s not about willpower or motivation; it’s about building systems that make good habits stick and bad ones fade away. It’s one of the most read books out there for a reason, if this is still on your list, you should definitely pick it up.
