TODAY'S MOTIVATIONAL MESSAGE
Just for you, Friend

Hey Everyone!
You probably noticed, I….. made a mistake. One of the links to yesterday’s video was broken, and yep, that was all me.
If you missed the video yesterday because apparently copy and pasting links isn’t as fool proof as you would think, it would mean the world to Editor Sarah if you checked it out! She puts a lot of work into these and it’s a shame when I mess it all up. 🙃 Show her some love! Thanks for being awesome!

5 Proactive Ways to Protect Your Mental Health Around Toxic People
We've all dealt with toxic people at some time or another.
Maybe it's that co-worker who always seems to spread negative comments about people's ideas, what they're wearing, how your manager handled something, or even complaining or making light of their own work.
Or perhaps you have a family member who is always trying to stir up drama, is openly inappropriate or disrespectful to others, and actively tries to pit people against each other, or just plain make everyone (Or one targeted person) feel bad about themselves.
That kind of attitude and behavior tends to poison the environment after a time, especially if they are pulling in other who can't or won't stand up to them…

Positively Uplifting Stories | April 7 2025
Everybody needs someone who believes in them.
And we can all do our part in creating communities where people feel valued and supported.
A few kind words can give a person the courage they need to go after their dreams. Your act of kindness can create ripples of transformation in someone’s life.
“One of the marvelous things about community is that it enables us to welcome and help people in a way we couldn't as individuals.” – Jean Vanier
A little kindness can make all the difference…
One Positive Action
Be the calm amidst the storm:
When life feels chaotic, our instinct is often to tighten up, to brace against the uncertainty. We grip harder, we push through, we try to control what we can. But the truth is, control is slippery in times like these. What actually steadies us isn’t the illusion of control, it’s grounding ourselves in what’s real and unshakeable within us. Even in the middle of the storm, we can choose to be the calm center.
Grounding is about finding a way to stay connected to ourselves when everything around us feels unstable. It’s about reminding ourselves: I might not be able to calm the storm, but I can anchor myself through it. That doesn’t mean we don’t feel fear or frustration, it means we recognize those feelings without letting them carry us away. When we visualize ourselves rooted, like a tree weathering strong winds, we tap into something deeper than the chaos: resilience that holds firm beneath the surface.
What I love about this practice is that it’s quiet and personal. It’s something that happens entirely within us. When we picture ourselves as grounded, we create a sense of steadiness that feels deeply connected to who we are. Even in the middle of uncertainty, we can hold onto that feeling. It gives us a little more space between what’s happening around us and how we choose to move through it. And in that space, we find our strength.
So today, take a moment to close your eyes and picture yourself grounded. Visualize roots extending from your feet deep into the earth, steady and strong. Feel your breath anchor you. Even if the day feels like it’s pulling you in a thousand directions, return to that image. Let it remind you that, no matter the chaos, you have the power to remain steady inside.
