Your Weekend Reset

Ready for a weekly reset? Try a few of these tips to unwind, connect, or get creative. We’ve got you covered to make the most of your downtime!

  • Set a “No Rush” Morning: Give yourself the space to ease into the day without a plan. No alarm clock dictating your first move, no mental to-do list waiting for you before you’ve even opened your eyes. Just wake up when you wake up, see how you feel, and move at your own pace. Maybe you stay under the blankets a little longer, maybe you make pancakes just because. Let the morning unfold naturally and enjoy the quiet.

  • Find a Cozy Coffee Shop and Read for an Hour: Find a quiet spot, order your drink, and settle in with a book. No screens, no multitasking, just a bit of time to sit and read without anyone needing you for anything. Let your mind wander through the pages and enjoy being tucked away from everything else for a little while. It’s a simple way to step out of the usual noise.

  • Do a Random Wikipedia Deep Dive: This is legitimately quite a lot of fun, you’ll be surprised! Pick a topic, anything at all, and start reading. Let your curiosity do the work and follow the links wherever they lead. Before you know it, you’ll be learning something you never expected, and it’s honestly a fun way to let your brain explore without any agenda. The surprise of where you end up is half the enjoyment.

  • Book Recommendation: Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert - This book is basically permission to follow whatever creative pull you’ve been ignoring. It’s honest about the doubts and fears that creep in when you try to make something, but it doesn’t make it feel heavy. Instead, it’s a reminder that you’re allowed to enjoy creating just for the sake of it. If you’ve been overthinking or talking yourself out of starting, this one helps quiet the noise.
